I am a registered psychologist with a focus on establishing a collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients to assist them in working through mental health issues.
I work predominantly with adults using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach. I have an extensive military background with over 22 years experience, and have worked for the last six years in defence assisting Wounded, Injured and Ill soldiers. I have extensive knowledge in understanding the processes and procedures of the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and the three different compensation legislations, Veterans’ Entitlement Act 1986 (VEA), the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRCA) and the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA). I have had active involvement in the medical separation process of a number of soldiers and have a particular interest in assisting service personnel to successfully transition from Defence.
